Tara may be appearing on the 7th Heaven Valentines Day episode. I couldn't find any confermation from the WB, so I do now know if she will actually be appearing on the show. If she does, it will be airing on Monday, February 11th or 18th at 8:00 pm. You can read more about the show below...

Simon will have another older girlfriend on Valentine's Day. Mary will get a job as a flight attendant on Jet Blue airlines. This will allow her to keep seeing her fireman boyfriend who lives in New York. Mary and Lucy will once again date brothers when Lucy starts dating Ben's brother (they'll be played by real life brothers Geoff and George Stults). Tara Lipinski will play their younger sister.

Thre is a new article called 'Amateurism Thing of Past '. You can read it here. Tara is quoted in the middle of the article...
"That's another thing people don't understand," says 1998 Olympic figure skating gold medalist Tara Lipinski, who was in Salt Lake City last week to skate in a professional show. "They think people turn pro for the money. But amateurs make just as much or more than the professionals. But once you're a professional, you can't go back as an Olympian."

Not that Lipinski would want to, mind you. She is delighted she no longer has to go through the grind of training for international competition. She had hip surgery last year, and she can't imagine how she could have prepared for the Salt Lake City Olympics on that painful joint. So she has no regrets about not defending her Olympic championship here.

"You never really give up your Olympic title, because you join a club," says Lipinski, who turned "pro" shortly after her Nagano triumph. "You look at Kristi Yamaguchi and Peggy Fleming; it's just so cool."

January 21st
You can view a photo of Tara and Michael Weiss at the Olympics here. This photo is from Michael's personal collection. He signed it for Tara to send with Danielle's aniversary book. Do not reproduce the photo.

There was an advertisement for Kodak cameras which featured Tara on it. This came in the Saturday coupon section of most newspapers. The ad said that if you buy specific Kodak products, you can send away for a free Olympic pin. The pins feature Tara, Bonnie Blair, Dan Jansen, Cammi Granato, Eric Bergoust, and the 1980 US Mens Hockey Team. The add said to see the display at retailers or visit www.kodak.com olympics for official mail in certificate.
... if anyone can get a scan I would greatly appreciate it (no Saturday cupon section here), lipinski82@aol.com.

Vanilla sky! my parents wanted to go see it with some friends (even though it wasnt in english??) so they dragged me along and Tara's scene was in the movie! it was in german though :( But I still got to see it!!! I cant believe it. it looked soooo good! I wish I could have understood it though, oh well. it was awesome!!! she is wearing this black outfit and her hair and straight and down. she just talks to Cameron Diaz the whole time and a couple other people are around her like this guy with long hair or something. or at least i think thats who she was talking to. she may have been talking to other people but i couldnt understand it since it was in German, and i was only half paying attention because i was so excited so I could be wrong. it looks so awesome and i hope it comes out in the dvd so I can see it in english!! lol. Great site, keep up the good work!!
