December 7, 2010 | Tara To Skate In "Golden Age Ice Show" This Weekend |
Tara will be skating in the Caesars Tribute, Salute to the Golden Age of American Skating this Saturday. The show takes place in Atlantic City, New Jewsey at 7:30pm and will air on NBC on Christmas Day at 4:00pm More information on the event, including ticket purchase, can be found here. Although Tara's name isn't listed on any of the event information, she WILL be skating in the show.

Tara will be commentating on the Grand Prix final ladies short this week. Immediately following, she will be flying to Atlantic City to skate in the Golden Age Ice Show.

"Nov. 11, 2010: USC Annenberg Institute of Sports, Media, & Society Presents the Sports & Social Change Speaker Series - "Sports and the Media: A Question of Ethics". The USC Annenberg Institute of Sports, Media, & Society welcomes MLB super agent Scott Boras; Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski; David Neal, former executive producer of NBC Sports; Joseph Heitzler, former CBS Sports executive and president of Forum Sports; Fox Sports's Pat O'Brien and sports communication scholar Dr. Lawrence Wenner for an evening discussion. They will analyze how the story of sports is created by athletes, leagues, the media and fans, and how that story shapes the image of sports and athletes in the public mind. The Sports & Social Change Speaker series, which has been funded by a generous grant from Nike, is designed to bring together sports professionals and scholars to discuss important issues in sports and sports media."
