5 TIMES TARA
By Mike Mika

Tara means happiness
Always in my Heart
Remembrances of Magical moments
All a gift from God!

Tara brings the sun up
Another day so bright
Riding through the hours
Anything nice reminds me of her light

Tara is incredible
An example of Gods might
Rest your eyes upon her
And you'll glow inside all night

Tara how we Love You
Always in Our Hearts
Really Champ, You're Great
And always worth the wait

Tara you're so far away
And yet so easy to know
Replying to our doting
Appreciative, full of thanks

Loved by All with Hearts of Gold
Inside You're Gold Yourself
Pleasent, Kind, and Warm
Infused with Gods Loving ways
Not many can compare
Still You are so humble
Known surely by the Angels
Insightful, YOU are Blessed Light
Poem by Kimberlee
(T)iny but good,
(A)cting the way a figure skater should.
(R)ules the skating universe,
(A)lways has money in her purse.

(L)ittle Tara brings home the gold,
(I)n Nagano, Japan, that medal, she did hold.
(P)racticing every single day,
(I)n her skating, she has a beautiful sway.
(N)ow Tara performs with "Stars On Ice,"
(S)o graceful and free, she skates very nice.
(K)eep believing in Tara Lipinski,
(I)n her sport, she'll go down in history!

Magic Moment
One cold winter morning, waking up and knowing it was true,
That it was your turn on ice, to show the world what you could do,
You skated your performance, so perfectly well,
When you landed those two triples, and surprised Michelle,
You were reading your marks, and then screamed with joy out loud,
I jumped off my couch, and I felt so proud,
It was at that moment although you may not of knew,
The gold was coming your way, and your dream had come true,
You opened my eyes, and put a shocking look on my face,
As that "Special Medal" awaited for you in its case,
You stood in front of the crowd, enjoying the moment of your life,
You were happier than ever, after you skated as sharp as a knife,
I wished I was there to see you so strong and so bold,
In that moment of your life when you knew you won the Gold,
Not only did you win it for the U.S. of A.,
But most importantly you won it for Yourself that day!
